The overall objective of the USSAA is to provide a social and competitive environment for both Saltwater and Freshwater Shore Angling throughout the United States of America.

The USSAA wants to unite shore anglers from all around the United States. This includes social anglers who would like to fish with fellow anglers (both local and from across the state and nation) on a regular basis and competitive anglers who want to participate in shoreangling as an amateur sport.
