It is the mission of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF), Marine Fisheries Division to conserve and protect Louisianas renewable aquatic resources for present and future generations of Louisiana citizens by controlling harvest and by replenishing and enhancing stocks and habitat.
