Mission Statement
To study all aspects of the state's saltwater fisheries, and to develop a comprehensive saltwater fishery conservation and management policy for the territorial saltwaters of the state (Chapter 80-162, Laws of Florida). After two years of rigorous study, the Council completed work on numerous recommendations on all aspects of fisheries management.
